Understanding how many leads you need on average is important when planning out your marketing strategy and level of investment. Before we go down this road however, it’s pivotal that you know your average conversion rate, which you can calculate here. If you’ve already done this, let’s see how many leads you need to achieve your goals based on your current conversation rate!

Steps to understand your lead need:

  1. Set your timeline. We recommend picking either a month, quarter, or 6 months.

  2. Decide how many Conversions you need within that period. What is your goal!? If you aren’t sure, we recommend looking at what you’re getting now within the period you defined in Step 1 and increasing it by 20% to get started. Or if you are a salon suite, use your empty suite count!

  3. Enter the conversion rate you just calculated above.

  4. Keep the same ‘Estimated % of Leads Who Were Qualified’ as you did to calculate your conversion rate, or if you are planning on working with Bow Tie Social in the future try adding 12% as that is our average immediate bump in lead quality for most of our clients!
